Once was a beauty with no brain
for her thinking was a pain
her affection was strong
she likes to kiss and tag along
but, that's before I knew she was insane

In the bed she wept
she had not been swept
off her feet I mean
her life seemed to lean
her prince always crept

She sure is a fighter
but only a lil lighter
her love is like trickles
and it only tickles
it gets me falling when she hugs tighter

She is similiar to me in many ways
the only difference is she really pays
the flight of her love
is greater than a dove
the look in her eyes I can’t help but gaze

She takes me to a place
that fills me with grace
it sure has a view
o how you only knew
with her her love i could only embrace

Texting and Driving your Choice!

Posted by Rell

Texting and driving has become the new popular thing in driving. Along with that popularity comes the dangers. It has now surpassed drinking and driving. The dangers similar to that of drinking your attention is crippled. while texting and driving the focus goes from from being alert at the to being alert about what your friend sent you through their qwerty keyboard of their new touch screen phone. I used to text and drive until I realized the true dangers. I appreciated that law enforcement has stepped and attempt to stop this problem

Life Changing

In my lifetime I haven't had much life changing events. The most life changing I had was when I got a car for the first time. I was able to have a lot more freedom. I had a job so I was pretty much good on gas. I would often take road trips. Sometimes I would travel by myself, but enjoy the company of others when I'm on the road.

My Car was a Ford Crown Victoria. It was sweet and fast. I drove it up to about 400,000 miles and it still would want to ride. Until the day and the O rings gave out. Expensive fix made me give it up.

Puerto Rico

Below the state of Florida about 1,038 miles from Miami lies Puerto Rico. Among one the many places I want to go. On account of the beauty of it's shore it tops the rest. Beyond the shore it's scenery throughout the landscape. Outside the homes in the soil holds the roots of the trees within the leaves lies the frog known as the coqui. The sound of is heard from a distance away. As you get near them it gets louder. During the day brings the smells of the foods. Throughout the food so good amid the sense of adobo and sofrito

She Lit the Match

There were many good teachers I've encountered but one stood out the most. Her name was Ms. Anderson. I had her for 1st and then 3rd grade. Those years were the most influential time. At that age your mind is a sponge that soaks up everything. Ms. Anderson understood that and she did to the best of her ability to make an impact on as many students as she can. She taught me to really understand what I was reading. Back then I had trouble with multiplication so she would spend extra time with me so that I would catch on to it. She was caring and treated students as if they were her own. Even though we had a lot of lessons she still made it where it was fun and enjoyable. To me she is a match lighter.

My Nickname

Posted by Rell

Most people have a nickname mine is Rell I've had it sense I was able to remember things. Basically since a baby. Rell comes from my 1st name Jerrell its the end part of it. My mom was someone who initiated it. One day she just started calling me by Rell. It was weird I naturally knew she was talking to me. When I look back that's what it was.

She Walks in Swagger

She walks in swagger, like a rap
of countless lines and starry punches;
and all that's best of flow and style
meet in her aspect and her voice
thus join to that tender beat
which musicians of flashy days denies

one hit the more, one smite the less
had half impaired the nameless rapper
which despise in every word he spits,
or envy the stream of her lines
Where thoughts compose and express
How pure, how respected their quarters.

And on that tongue, and of her speech,
so hard, so tight, yet fluent,
The smiles that win, the fans that glow,
but tell of days in hardship spent,
A mind at turmoil with all above,
A heart whose care is truth!
